Miguel M. Matias was the creator and showrunner of two TV series in Portugal: ‘Strange’ and ‘The Last Treasure’. He has written numerous episodes of other series, including ‘Blood Ties’ which won an International Emmy for Best Show in 2011. Shortly after moving to the US, Matias directed his short film ‘Emma’s Fine’ which was selected to screen at numerous film festivals in 16 countries.
